Rebelutionaries Meet!

Chenoa and I met while attending the Institute of Photographic Studies in Texas. She's from Canada, so we had fun finding out we both were Rebelutionaries! My sisters were also there for the first week of classes, but they were talking to my roommate while I said my goodbyes and got this picture taken. Miss ya girl!

Chelsea & Baby

I stole this idea from Chelsea Hudson Photography awhile back and couldn't wait to use it. I'm loving how this turned out and just had to share a sneak preview! The rest will be posted on my photography site.

The Reblution Tour 2007

The Rebelution tour 2007 in Sacramento is here and gone. As it was the day after camp, the experience was totally different this year. I ended up standing or sitting at the back of the room to keep myself awake. ;-) I was also too tired to take many pictures, so you'll have have to enjoy the few on my photography site or check out The Rebelution's Photo Section.

There were things I enjoyed more this year than last year and some things I liked better last year. For instance, the smaller crowd last year seemed more intimate, though some of it could have to do with knowing more people. (Jesse and I were disappointed to find out you could register on site when we had been told that wouldn't be available. We knew people that were interested in coming. ;-( )

This year Gregg Harris gave a Gospel invitation during his session, and 15 young people accepted Christ! I still wish they had a Q&A session. Maybe next year. Below is a cool recap of the conference video:

If you haven't attended The Rebelution conference, do make an effort to come next year. As my 10 year old friend said last year, it is "the best 7 hour conference ever!"

A Change of Heart

Ok, this is waaaaay overdue, but I couldn't pass it up!

From sometime during PHC DL in '04-'05:
Luke: I don't want to get married.
Me: why?
Luke: Girls are too much trouble :-)
Me: I'm gonna remember that for your wedding... :P
Luke: hahaha......

Never say I don't keep my word (or even dare laugh at my quote keeping)! *grin*

They are Real!

Some people just have a hard time understanding DL. They don't see how one can take classes online, much less make friends. So it's kind of hard to explain what it's like to finally meet them in person. I'll just say that it's incredibly awesome! Last week Heather, Michelle, Corrie, and I met up in Sacramento for an afternoon of fun, chatting face to face, taking pics, wandering around, eating dinner and ice cream, taking pics, posing in front of the coolest capitol, laughing tons, and taking more pics! I also got to meet Daniel and Raija (finally! :-)!

Corrie then came and stayed for the weekend. Between all the pictures, we determined that it's best for my health for her to be in another time zone. But, I've figured out that it would be even better for me if she stayed longer than less than 48 hours next time! ;-) I just had soooo much fun and miss her a lot! She's quite easy to become addicted to! It was a visit of a lot of firsts, but hopefully not lasts!

"Picasa and I have a directed friendship. ;-)" -uh, should I admit to this?

"I'm practicing being a gentleman." -she who holds open doors for others

"I almost wore a skirt!!!" -the poor girl who almost wore a skirt

Just seeing them makes you smile.

Losers...

I am hurt. Someone told me tonight that they hope the Kings lose. Don't they know how that would affect me??? I'd be devastated!!! I have been waiting for so long for a ring and now it looks like it is moving out of my reach. Worse yet is that "someone" is glad...:'(

Edit: for all those that don't know me well, anything on this note is usually facetious. It would take a lot more to depress and offend me!
