Praying Before Bible Quizzing
Bible quizzing was so intense!! After earning first place in the semi-final round, our team went on to compete in the final round. Missing one, for the first time, in paddles, they were in a 3-way tie for third place! Now our team knew every single answer on speed quizzing, but we just weren't fast enough to buzz in before anyone else. To win the tie breaker, you have to the first to earn 40 points...all in speeding quizzing! You got it, UGH! It came down to all three teams only needing one more right to win. The final question was one we all knew since third grade, "What is the definition of grace." Someone buzzed in. We all held our breaths as we waited for the judges to call out the team number. We were so excited when they called our team that one of the girls on stage eeked out a scream, which sent the whole room into laughter. The team let her answer, and we all cheered as we became the third place winners in the final round!! Those girls are so awesome!!
