Wow, it has been awhile. I'll start from Saturday and go from there.

Some of you might not have heard, but a dear friend, Ruth Hunter, passed away last week. She was ready and eager to go! Her memorial service was Saturday afternoon. There were so many of our old friends there. I had forgotten how much I missed those older people. So full of wisdom and experience!

The service itself was kind of disappointing. While her granddaughters gave testimony to their grandmother's life and influence on them (multi-generational influence!), an Invitation was never given!! A couple of times I thought it was going to happen "Wow, awesome link, here it comes!," only to be sadly wrong. I think most of her family are unsaved...what a missed opportunity. :-(

Oh, I also got to see Ray's new car! He handed me the keys, I thought just to look at them. But then he had me get in and turn it on, I was still clueless as to why until he has me buckle up and got in the passenger side. I gotta say, it was pretty cool. Mazda 3s are not too bad. ;-)

That night I watched a Kings game for the first time in a long time! It was awesome, btw. My dad and sister went to the open gym. I missed her best game ever. :-/ J also informed me I should've been there 'cause he couldn't miss. I prolly would've jinxed him anyway.

Sunday was a great day! Church was awesome as usual--at the Ps' house this time. No Pictionary for the first time in weeks. Instead they opted for football. I couldn't play 'cause of my ankle, so I became a permanent blocker for anyone that needed a screen out in the middle of the field. I'm quite good at it, I might add! ;-) C convinced me to play Speed and Go Fish while the others then went on the basketball. The poor girl didn't stand a chance. :-( So we just did little dances, warmed hands, and keep sticky fingers out of J's purse... ;-) Our song with the Ps is almost ready to perform!

Now to today, it was a Monday, enough said. Second winds are great, though. So are great friends who let me complain to them and was ready to cry with me! Y'all are the bestest!!
