I'm Not Holding My Breath
A book I'm reading expresses hope that maybe someday evolution will be recognized for the poor theory that it really is!
"One only hopes it will not be too long before the scientific community publicly acknowledges the implausibility of evolutionary theory, and textbooks written for high school and college students openly acknowledge that evolution simply is not a satisfactory explanation for the origin of life on the earth."
I just have to say that that won't be anytime soon unless they come up with an alternate theory to explain away the existence of the world. Whether people recognize it or not, evolution is "true" to these people because they don't want to accept its alternative! Do you know how they'd have to live if they believed that there was a God who would one day judge the world?? I don't see any new theories that are widely accepted, but I wouldn't put it past them to be scared to death and scrounging for something else.
