Family Worship

Once in awhile I'm going to post my thoughts on some of the discussions we have in class. Even if you don't agree with me, I hope you have fun reading them!:-D

I believe that children even as young as 6 and below can benefit from the church's worship service. Have you ever experienced the prayers of a 2 year old or heard children too young to read bellow out the tune to a hymn? Contrary to common belief, children can be trained to sit still. It won't happen over night, but with practice, they can worship right alongside the older people. Even if they don't understand every word spoken, what a blessing to learn how to sit and listen from watching your father and mother. What a joy it is for parents, not to be distracted from worship, but to be the ones to teach their children and worship as a family.

If you're interested in reading more, here and here are some articles I found.
