Moo On Down

Yeah, that was this year's theme for the Nevada County Fair. It was actually quite cute. Some little kids had made cow shapes out of wood and had decorated them. The theme picture was a cow with boots and a quilt on with a pig and a chicken on its back. While the weather was very nice for August, it wasn't as crowded as usual. I think it had to do with the weather being in the 100s in Sacramento earlier that week. We just lucked out. The Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) booth was great. We had so many kids come, and quite a few were saved. One man saw lots of people walking around with the Wordless Book bracelets on and came to find out what it was all about. He heard the gospel and accepted Christ as his Savior! It was awesome!! The Hot Spot, Living Well Medical Clinic's food booth, also did great. I worked at the cash register, and we brought in a lot of money. All in all, this was a pretty good fair. I can't wait until next year!
Oh yeah, I decided to go with walking and survived :-)
