Taggedness
10 years ago: I was a decade younger. I loved my Sunday school teachers, had just started Awana back up, and was very shy. When you get to be my age, this is pretty much all you remember of that long ago!
5 years ago: I was having a great time in high school. I had just gotten contacts and was getting used to them. I actually had a b'day party that year which was just a sleepover to have fun with (20) friends. Hide and seek in the dark and charades were prolly the highlights. It was our first year of going to competition for Varsity, and our Bible quizzing team took third over all. That summer was also my first year on staff at CYIA camp. By this time, Toastmasters, volleyball, raising puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, Inc., and CYIA had chipped away some of my shyness. I still had a ways to go, though! Teaching Sunday School, CEF, handbells, children's church, etc. were my main ministries.
1 year ago: I was almost a different person than four years before. God really worked on my life to change me! I was enjoying another semester of PHC DL with my favorite prof, Dr. Erdmann! I made some great friends and had crazy chats with Michelle. Mentioning a certain profession would make me laugh. No, it wasn't clowns. :P I was coaching and teaching in Awana everywhere from K-12. I was also getting used to being "ancient" and getting teased about it by friends and complete strangers, lol. It was around this time that Luke and I duked it out a few times, hehe.
Yesterday: I was one day younger. The day was spent teaching violin and recovering from the snow day. Catching up in John was my main homework objective. Writing posts that were logical and sounded like I knew what I was talking about was the hardest part. Raija helped me out with the links on my blog.
Ok, I'm doing this as fast as I can, so all the information might not be the best answer to the question. ;-)
5 snacks I like: Oreos, chocolate chip cookies, chai, goldfish crackers, and chocolate.
5 things I'd do with $1,000,000: Support tons of missionaries, finish my house, buy lots and lots of books, and I don't know.
5 songs I know all the words to: *looks at playlist* Amazing Grace, Draw Me Close, My Jesus I Love Thee, Open the Eyes, and Come Thou Fount
5 places I'd run away to: It'd be more like dragging my family, so...Plymouth, Texas, PHC, Hawaii-Pearl Harbor, and Ukraine.
5 things I'd never wear: LA Laker's jersey, 6'' heels, gotta copy B here--a shirt with my picture on the front, A&F clothes, and a paper bag over my head.
5 bad habits: staying up too late, procrastinating on papers, losing my "bartsburswax" chapstick (well you just try saying the real thing out loud fast!), taking tons of pics ;-), and not keeping up with people through e-mail (everyone needs IM!).
5 weird things about me: my eyes keep changing colors--brown, "army green," and even blue, I love Indian curry, I live in California and don't surf, I can play Turkey in the Straw on the harmonica (my mom learned it from my grandpa and taught it to me) and "I know everyone" *rolls eyes*.
5 big toys: 'puter, ATV, camera and equipment, hope chest, and my own room(?).
5 fictional characters I would date: ok, not even going there. oh wait, I don't have to, I don't date. :P
