A little logic exercise tonight. According to Horton (some guy whose writings we have to read in theo), somehow a dispensationalist's view of the Kingdom of God affects his view on lordship salvation or the lack of lordship in salvation. I can't see the connection! It's almost as if he's saying "see the reason why the non-lordship people are so off is 'cause they're just disps." Hello! John MacArthur is a disp. himself!

A: Lordship salvation is founded on belief S
B: Dispensationalism is founded on belief Z
C: Beliefs S and Z contradict each other
D: Therefore, lordship salvation and disp. cannot both be believed by the same individual
E: John MacArthur is a disp.
G: Therefore, John MacArthur is either lying when he says he believes in lordship salvation or he is lying when he says he is a disp.

Anyone else seeing the problem?? Thank you, I see those hands out there. :P What annoys me most is his lack of understanding and portrayal of dispensationalism. It's like saying Calvinists are fatalists. I could go on, but I'll spare you. No thanx is needed. G'morning.
