It's amazing how people can grow apart over time. I look back at some of my childhood friends and marvel that we were even close! I bet some country singer has written a song about this... Once in awhile I'll bump into someone I haven't seen in a long time and have a hard time making conversation. You hear about their life, you tell what's happening with you, and then it's the dreaded dead silence. It's not always even that my friends are the ones that have done all the changing. I have changed so much in these past few years that's it not even funny. I totally believe that if I knew back then where'd I'd be today, I'd have freaked out!! I can see God's hand moving in my life and see how those changes in friendships had to come. It still amazes me, though, and I can only praise God for His work in my life!
